Some customers have claimed the Best Western Plus Midwest Inn is the cheapest peaceful retreat in Nebraska, and I couldn’t agree more. When spending a weekend away from home and work, you need a quiet place that is not crowded from door to window. Luckily, this hotel doesn’t have that many on-site attractions, so you won’t be waking up to the sound of kids running up and down the halls.
The pool is open year-round so you can plan your vacation at your convenience. Additionally, the place treats its guests to a delicious breakfast buffet and offers rooms with whirlpools for the ultimate relaxation. And to get all this for such a minimal cost – it’s practically a steal!
If you ask me, booking a hotel is a risky gamble. You could be expecting a lavish water park, only to end up with a single shared pool. Luckily, Best Western Plus Inn didn’t scam me like that.
My family was looking forward to a casual vacation in Nebraska, so I wasn’t actively searching for someplace fancy. Hotels with ultra-modern amenities, 24/7 kids activities, and busy waterparks were also a no-go.

Equipped with cozy rooms, whirlpools, a fitness center, a pool area, and a business lounge for workaholics, the place is ideal for adults. The rooms here are cheaper than other popular hotel chains, making it an excellent choice for people looking forward to a pleasant experience on a low budget.
I wouldn’t recommend the Best Western Plus Midwest Inn to families with teenage kids looking forward to a fun-filled stay. There are various recreation spots near the hotel, but there’s not much to do on-site.
The hotel boasts a big indoor pool area with a separate kiddie pool, but that’s pretty much it. The water slides in the pool area aren’t nearly as thrilling as other hotels in Omaha, and there aren’t any other activities for kids.
Families with kids around this age bracket have left positive reviews on Google and TripAdvisor, and I share the thought. Best Western Plus Midwest Inn’s indoor pool area has a shallow kiddie pool with slides for the little ones.
The enclosed pool space means your kids will be safe inside, so you won’t have to worry about them wandering off. Your kids will be occupied the entire evening, so you can get your work done, hit the fitness center, or relax in the whirlpool.
You sure can! Best Western Plus Midwest Inn is already cheaper than other hotels offering similar amenities. And you still have the opportunity to save so much more by availing their discount offers.
