My grandchildren loved it! This is a great weekend getaway for families. Get a cabana for the pool, you will enjoy the fun. The food is geared to the kids, but it is good. The buffet breakfast is great!

I will not return to this location until they update their rooms. The only good thing was the people working there. 1st night there we had to move at 4 am because the AC was making a loud noise(like tennis shoes in a dryer!!) Then the room they moved me to was doing the SAME thing. They sent an engineer up, and it was "fixed" for the night. The front desk informed me I was among 30 or so others with the SAME issue. We tried to continue to enjoy our time with my sister(her 2 girls) myself(and my 2 boys), but it is very difficult when you have 2 tired kids who got ONE good night's rest during our 3 night stay. The staff tried their best to keep us happy, like I said before the staff was the only good thing I have to say. With the exception of one who was running the rock wall. She told us she was closing the rope climbing course at 7 despite the app stating it closed at 10. She was VERY rude, mean to my 8 year old, and did not even allow him time to climb the rock wall because it closed at 7 pm and she apparently had better things to do than show compassion and do her JOB. Her supervisor was exceptional once I spoke to him and gave us the chance to do mini golf and bowling. Well, we went to Bowl, and the machines were malfunctioning. 4 kids let down AGAIN. The only thing they really got to do was the Waterpark. Even that was overwhelming and crowded, not enough tables or chairs, and way too small for the number of people that were there. The lines were long, and it was just not a good experience. I will stick with Concord location from here on out.

I’ve never had any one person treat me and my gang any better. Bethany absolutely went above and beyond for us. I’m sure the other folks renting cabanas would say the same. She never stopped! If she ask us once she ask a hundred times if we needed anything or if our food and drinks were ok. Y’all have a “STAR EMPLOYEE”! Not to leave any out either, everyone has been super nice and very informative. Wish all places had employees with as good work ethics as you guys have.Bethany, hope we get you on our next stay. Your beautiful inside and out!

Amy was very attentive to our needs and was so very friendly with our children, especially our high energy middle son. She is a very nice person and made our last day at the water park special. The park and hotel are so spectacular. We love coming (this was our third trip). My only suggestion would be for someone to help explain starting the magiquest better. The people selling the wands are very rushed, there should be some people just walking around to help you get started.

We absolutely loved our trip here. The staff is friendly. The dance party, and special events are so much fun. Bring your own food or eat out because the pizza place took an hour to cook a pizza that was mostly bread, and the Buckets food place in the water park has food that makes cardboard taste great. The whole place is clean and seems well kept. The bar staff in the water park is awesome. Be ready to spend money. A bag of popcorn in the little store is over $7. Just a few of my observations. We will be back and will bring our own food. And though the sign says no outside food, I’ll ignore that until the food they sell is eatable.

Rooms were clean, food was great, activities were fun. Staff.... staff all except the lifeguards in the water park sucked. Not once was I asked if I needed help, not once were I, or my children engaged. We were shuttled through each activity like cattle. The staff strapping my child in the harness for the rock climb were so short and rude with my kids I was about to say something. One of my children has autism. He can't help it if he' s distracted and doesn't follow directions to the T instantly. For the Disney prices this place is charging, their staff falls soooo short. The lifeguards were attentive, nice and engaging.

The great Wolf Lodge is great, rooms are great, but as any other theme park everything can be better with more money. Premium parking requires money but loved the free Tesla chargers. Service has been great. Kiosk check-in does require having to meet front staff for the bracelet for the park. I asked for away from the elevator and was given the last room where the elevator is next to room 1 and I was given 55 which is the last room so lots of walk to the room from the elevator. The mobile food was so backed up at the bucket, they apologized saying due to the new system but from the time I placed the order until my order was ready it was close to 50 minutes. Kids had so much fun and even with fully booked rooms you were able to get through 5 major rides in an hour. The staff was super helpful. Even with so many people, many folks were reserving seats early in the morning so if someone in your family wakes up early, you would want to reserve seats for the water park.

We came to the lodge for our sons 3rd birthday. We had an absolute blast! The birthday package was a great value and we had a lot of fun with the arcade. The food was great and I highly recommend the breakfast. They have a great variety on the buffet which we appreciated due to our kiddo being a picky eater. My favorite thing was how understanding the staff were. Our son is autistic and can be a handful and needs extra support sometimes. The staff were super nice and accommodating and just all around great. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying a few days.

Alberta Falls: The perfect take on a trip for two, the Alberta Falls water slide takes you right outside the building and back in again before your final drop into the plunge pool.

Whooping Hollow: This play pool is filled with perfectly sized water slides your little ones will adore. Gentle slopes and tiny dips and turns make these the go-to attractions for the “under 48 inches” set.

Totem Towers: Escape Fort Mackenzie! The Totem Towers water slides are the perfect way to fly the coop once you’ve reached the top of our water fort treehouse. Blast off on your own or race a friend to the finish line. Then you can start all over again!

Howling Wolf: At the Howling Wolf take your friends and family along as you twist and turn and dip from the top, taking a thrilling trip right outside the water park walls before your final drop into the plunge pool.

The Triple Twist: Triple Twist offers electrifying drops into three successive funnels with super-fast twists and turns that will have you howling for more.

Cub Paw Pool: Cub Paw Pool offers tiny kiddie slides and rainbow-colored jet skis with water cannons on your way to the 18-inch “deep” end.

Chinook Cove: Let your imagination run wild as you practice your hook shots, free throws, and rebounds. Everybody loves water basketball, so you’re sure to go into overtime in this pool of family fun.

Big Foot Pass: Balance and sway as you get underway! Giant, floating lily pads and cargo nets invite your wolf pups to a sweet aqua adventure that builds dexterity and strength while offering soft, warm water landings.

North and South Hot Springs: Take a break to slow down and soak up a glow! You and your children will enjoy the luxuriously inviting heat that relaxes your every muscle.

Raccoon Lagoon: This outdoor paradise offers an all-around three-foot, six-inch deep water play area, with fountains and plenty of poolside seating for soaking up the sun.

Once you dry off, you can check out some of their on-land attractions, including their Rustic Ridge Climbing Wall, Howl in One Mini Golf Course, or Ten Paw Bowling Alley.

Restaurant

The on-site dining options are quite good and reasonably priced. Each location may vary, but you will likely find some of the following from which to choose during your stay:

Lodge Wood-Fired Grill: Here you will have a range of wood-fired steaks, seafood, and ribs

Hungry as a Wolf: Hungry as a Wolf serves pizza, pasta, salads, and subs.

Loose Moose: You may find a buffet that serves breakfast and dinner at Loose Moose Great Wolf Lodge.

Bear Paw Sweet Eats and Treats: Bear Paw serves homemade fudge, baked goods, and other delicious sweets.

Grizzly Rob’s: Grizzly Rob’s is the bar located inside the waterpark. I’ve seen Grizzly Jack’s at a variety of locations, but just know this – you won’t have to leave the waterpark if you need a drink refill!

Dunkin Donuts: Most locations have a chain bakery/coffee shop. At this one, Dunkin Donuts even offers a refillable mug option for coffee drinkers.

Ben and Jerry’s: Feel like cooling off with a sweet treat. Ben & Jerry’s will have you covered. A small ice cream is included in the Paw Pass if you opt to purchase that.

Families positively value both the variety and quality of the products.

Family rooms

You can have a variety of suite options at Great Wolf Lodge, and each has its charm. The most fun for families with young children is staying in one of the themed suites: Wolf Den, KidKamp, and KidCabin. Bunk beds, a themed kids’ area, and even a kids-only television make these the most requested in our family.

And if you are traveling with extended family members then go for Loft Fireplace Suite. With two stories and two bathrooms, it’s easy for multiple people to share a room without tripping over one another. This is a great option for grandparents to travel with kids and grandkids, or for two families to split the cost of a stay! Many of the suites sleep up to eight adults.

The prices of each room type vary greatly. Opt for the more basic rooms at a lower cost or more space for a bit of a premium. There are so many options!

Location

To be honest, Great Wolf Lodge itself is a world in it. You will find everything on-site including restaurants, shopping centers, and all fun areas. It’s a promise that you will be soaked in the inside’s fun that the nearby attractions will not matter.

If you feel like roaming around then you can check Wild Animal Safari at  24 min drive away and Callaway Gardens at 29 min drive. Also a range of restaurants including McDonald’s at a 12-minute drive.
